1. If you have a VPN, make sure it is fully turned off. VPNs may sometime capture all traffic, therefore throttling Ananda as well.

 

2. If you are using a cloud instance for your testing, make sure it is a large enough instance otherwise it might be throttling traffic. For example, on Amazon use c4.large or better.

 

3. Allow enough time for the test. Ananda continuously optimizes the connection, so measure over 60 seconds or more to experience the true performance.

 

4. To get more visibility into how Ananda is routing your traffic, open your command prompt or terminal and type:


> ananda-cli --connections

This will provide you with more insight into the inner working of the network layer.
